Eddie Perez, Connecticut Mayor, Found Guilty On Charges Of Corruption, Bribery, Larceny By Extortion

The fact that this headline is not even remotely surprising or shocking is a tragedy! Our nation continues to lose its collective moral footing at home and abroad. I am unsure what the solution is but there has got to be stiffer consequences for “white collar” crimes!

If a neighborhood thug caused as much havoc and harm to as many people during a blue collar crime he (or she) would get some serious hard jail time…meanwhile Bernie Madoff, the Enron execs, the Keating Five guys, etc. all get the proverbial slap on the wrist…theres no deterrent!

This man should be made an example of..just like Kwame in Detroit!!
